Event Description: Recycling Event to promote recycling,raise awareness of the importance if recycling and draw attention to the new location of the Recycling Area. This Recycling Campaign is made possible through a collaboration between the Friends of Fort De Soto, St. Petersburg High School, Lakewood High School, Pass-A-Grill Community Church, Association of periOperative Nurses (AORN), and more! It will include unveiling of the new Recycling Area, Collection of Trash & Recyclables throughout the park, planting sea oats and more. Lunch will be provided in Shelter 11 at Noon following the event.
Fort De Soto Park 3500 Pinellas Bay Way South, Tierra Verde 33715 Meeting at 8:00 am on the right side of the road as you enter the park, after the Boat Ramp just before the campground. Then, participant will be deployed throughout the park.
